No More Penny

In Canada, the production of pennies had already stopped but we've been using them in 2012. Now finally we will stop using them this year. As of February 4th, stores will automatically round up or down to nearest 5 cents, so we don't have to carry pennies any more. They say that we can use pennies forever so your pennies won't become useless all of a sudden.

Pennies are quite annoying for many people. Takes lots of space in a wallet and heavy. When you pay things using cash, you will accumulate lots of them. So people don't take care of pennies and they are everywhere on the ground. Most of us wouldn't even pick up pennies if you find one on the street. Only a little child would be happy to find it.

The pennies may be collectible item in ten years or so. I don't think I would collect them. It would be better if I can get rid of them and never receive them back in return. How much could this worth eventually? Rare Canadian penny for 5 cents?
