Bank Teller
Have you ever had an experience visiting the bank asking them to do some transactions and they do it wrong or give you an attitude? I have a bit of trust problems with various levels of bank employees. First of all, they charge you fees for everything. They tell you to open this account, that account and when you transfer money between the accounts, or withdraw, they charge you fees. Although they tell you that this type of account has better interest, but when you withdraw, the fee is way higher than any interest you earn from such account. The tellers are usually poorly trained at the bank. When you tell them something other than simply depositing money in your account, they don't know what to do and they even don't want to ask their supervisor and do things wrong. When you want to take out money from your account, they ask you reasons and try to prevent you from withdrawing. It is simply annoying.
Canada Post
I don't say that Canada post employees are as annoying as bank employees, but their jobs aren't often done right. If you want to send a package and ask the price for sending it out, it is different at each time by different employees. Their delivery is often not very reliable. Once I had a letter took more than one year to reach Germany. Not sure if it was the fault of Canada post or something happened in German post, but this wasn't the only time delivery was late. I often have problem sending express mail to the US. It takes more than 20 days. That too, you can't blame Canada post alone, but the problem with post. I also had a problem of local delivery. I shipped a package that was supposed to arrive the next day but took 4 days. But in this case, you can request a refund at Canada post https://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/mc/personal/support/helpcentre/tracking/late_delivery.jsf
I notice that I usually don't get mails on Mondays or around the public holiday. Not sure if this is just a coincident or delivery is taking a longer break than the rest of the population.
Real Estate Agent
I have to say that the real estate agents are the worst people when it comes to trusting. If you are buying, they will push you to spend maximum amount or more and want you to buy after a couple of days of showing. If you insist looking more places, they will simply tell you there's no more and don't bother to work with you. If you get into multiple offer situation, they tell you to put more than asking price. They will just pressure you and tell you that you don't know nothing about the market and they knew best. If you are selling, they never call you when someone is coming to view your place. When offer comes, they want you to accept as soon as possible. Sometimes they tell you that they would pay you back a bit of fee, but they conveniently forget unless you press it. This profession even makes a nice relative and friends into a greedy monster. I have a very very hard time trusting any real estate agent.
Summary
These are my personal opinions about these professionals. I'm sure there are other bad ones that I don't frequently deal with. I would love to hear about other professionals you don't trust.
